In addition to the ongoing road paving projects in various urban areas, the government has initiated emergency works aimed at providing immediate relief to the population.
These urgent measures are focused on easing mobility, improving access to essential services, and boosting economic activity in underserved areas.
Paving intra-urban roads not only helps reduce the isolation of certain neighborhoods but also energizes local trade.
President Traoré is determined for these efforts to extend beyond major thoroughfares, reaching directly into residential and commercial zones where access is particularly challenging, especially during the rainy season.
By rehabilitating road infrastructure, the government hopes to improve road safety, lower transportation costs, and enhance the quality of life for Burkinabe, particularly in peripheral neighborhoods that have long been overlooked.
