This landmark date will commemorate the first anniversary of the withdrawal of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger from ECOWAS, as well as the official establishment of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
A symbol of sovereignty and self-determination
Through this mobilization, the civic organizations from the three nations aim to reaffirm their unwavering support for the leaders of the AES and to celebrate a pivotal milestone in their pursuit of sovereignty and self-determination.
