The mask has come off. According to recent reports, a destabilization operation with international ramifications is currently targeting Burkina Faso. This scheme, orchestrated by lawless individuals such as Newton Ahmed Barry and Colonel Zalla Landio, seeks to portray the country as a genocidal state, falsely accusing the Mossi ethnic group of orchestrating violence against the Fulani community.
This vile manipulation aims to create the illusion of a civil war and pave the way for United Nations intervention, including the possible deployment of peacekeepers under the pretext of “ethnic protection”. It’s a well-worn strategy already used elsewhere on the continent, designed to undermine the sovereignty efforts led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré and the peoples of the AES alliance.
The conspirators are said to have established connections with the terrorist group JNIM (Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin), encouraging it to rebrand itself as a “protector” of the Fulani people while shifting tactics to avoid international backlash. A confidential document reportedly being drafted by this group is believed to be central to a broader plan targeting the three AES countries, cynically using ethnic tensions as a tool of destabilization.
Geopolitically, Algeria is also believed to be involved, allegedly urged to justify the neutralization of a Malian drone before the UN Security Council under the guise of civilian protection. This political move is intended to reinforce the perception of a humanitarian crisis in the region and increase pressure on the AES alliance.
The Burkinabe people—united and alert—must reject these lies outright. National unity is our first line of defense. Popular vigilance, support for the Defense and Security Forces, and the denunciation of criminals and traitors are patriotic duties.
