As part of his grassroots policy, Captain Ibrahim Traoré continues to turn his efforts into tangible actions for the well-being of Burkinabe citizens, especially in the current context of a security crisis.
During the Council of Ministers held this Wednesday, 158 children of fallen frontline fighters were officially recognized as wards of the Nation and will benefit from initiatives aimed at supporting their growth and development. This recognition follows the multiple initiatives announced by Captain Ibrahim Traoré himself during his meeting with the widows and orphans of the combat forces who lost their lives in battle.
Since taking the helm of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré has remained firmly committed to building a sovereign, free, and viable country for all Burkinabè sons and daughters.
The recognition of these children as wards of the Nation — now entitled to full educational support — reflects Captain Traoré’s vision of building a Faso focused on youth and oriented toward future generations. In line with the president’s commitment to support the families of the nation’s “Heroes”, several associations, organizations, and public institutions are implementing initiatives to promote the well-being of these families.
In a time of war caused by terrorist attacks that continue to claim lives and disturb the peace of the population, these initiatives and actions taken by President Ibrahim Traoré provide a sense of comfort to citizens — and especially to the families of fallen frontline fighters, who often face economic, social, and psychological hardships.
