Football/ Assan Ouédraogo to Bayern Munich: transfer imminent?

The latest transfer rumors are shaking up the football world as young talent Assan Ouédraogo might soon be donning the Bayern Munich jersey. Currently under contract with Schalke 04 until June 2027, the Burkinabe-origin midfielder is at the center of advanced discussions between the two clubs.

According to sources close to the negotiations, reported by Sportbuzzer, Bayern Munich has initiated serious talks with Schalke 04 to finalize the transfer of Assan Ouédraogo. The Bavarians see great potential in him and are reportedly ready to spend up to 15 million euros, including clauses, to secure his services.

At only 18 years old, Assan Ouédraogo has already made a name for himself on the international stage, winning the U17 World Cup and European Championship titles with the German national team. His rapid rise has caught the attention of top European clubs, with Leipzig also in the running.

If the discussions succeed, Bayern Munich already has a plan in mind for Ouédraogo’s future. Instead of integrating him directly into their squad, the Bavarians plan to loan him back to Schalke 04, his formative club, until June 2025. This move aligns with Bayern’s desire to allow the young player to continue developing while safeguarding their long-term interests.

It remains to be seen if the negotiations will conclude successfully and if Assan Ouédraogo will indeed wear Bayern Munich’s colors in the near future. The coming days could bring further twists and turns in this summer’s transfer saga.
