Football/ Real Madrid unveils its new home jersey 2024-2025

Real Madrid has just officially presented its new home jersey, for the 2024-2025 season, with a classic jersey reminiscent of the Madrid club’s old collections.

After another historic season with the Liga and the Champions League, Real Madrid is clearly on its own. All was successful in sport for Carlo Ancelotti’s men who still seem to be preparing very heavy for next season. In this sense, the Madrid club has also made the arrival of Kylian Mbappé official. The French star has finally joined Real Madrid after years and years of rumour. A huge sporting asset for Merengues but also marketing.

Because Kylian Mbappé has an international reputation and is distinguished by his great impact on the club’s spin-off products. On Wednesday, Real Madrid officially unveiled their long-awaited home jersey for next season. The latter has just been unveiled by the club’s historical supplier, Adidas, with whom Real Madrid has been under contract since 1998. A contract that is not about to come to an end between the two parties.

For this new jersey, which will be Kylian Mbappé’s first at Real Madrid, Adidas has decided to trade the gold for the black, which adorns the three original stripes of the German equipment manufacturer. Featuring a gold-rimmed collar, this garment pays homage to the white, simple and iconic design of the team’s home wear since its inception. In particular, he recalls the 2018-2019 season, the first without Cristiano Ronaldo, who then signed with Juventus.

In addition to the black stripes, the white of the jersey is distinguished by small patterns that add relief and depth to the tunic. Contrary to the previous year, the inscription “Hala Madrid” on the collar has visibly disappeared. Both the version of the jersey for Carlo Ancelotti’s players and the one for fans are made from entirely recycled materials.

The athlete version is equipped with HEAT.RDY technology, designed to optimise air circulation and ensure a refreshing effect during exercise. Kylian Mbappé, who for the moment is not on the poster to highlight the jerseys (unlike Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.) could open the European Super Cup against Atalanta on 14 August.
