In his relentless pursuit of the well-being of his people, President Ibrahim Traoré once again demonstrates his commitment through a colossal investment aimed at financing specific projects in 2024. The Burkinabe government has announced an allocation of 373.139.550.866 FCFA for the acquisition of materials and the construction of infrastructure for the benefit of about ten ministries and institutions, according to the report from this Wednesday’s Council of Ministers meeting.
Among the notable projects are significant investments in the National Office of Major Projects of Burkina Faso (BN-GPB), with initiatives aimed at improving access to electricity through the construction of power plants and the expansion of the electrical network. Additionally, considerable efforts will be made to build infrastructure, drill wells, and develop hydro-agricultural facilities, which are essential for improving living conditions in rural areas.
These projects also include the acquisition of seeds and plants, tools, and industrial equipment, demonstrating a commitment to strengthening the country’s productive capacities. Administrative modernization is also a priority, with the purchase of software and computer equipment, as well as the implementation of digital platforms to enhance the efficiency of public services.
Education, a fundamental pillar of development, also benefits from this investment. Classrooms will be built and equipped, food for school canteens and school supplies will be provided, ensuring a conducive learning environment for young Burkinabe.
