Burkina Faso/Sovereignty: President Ibrahim TRAORE’s struggle draws Pan-Africans

The commitment of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, to the liberation and sovereignty of his country, the Sahel, and by extension Africa as a whole, attracts the admiration and support of all those who share the same ideology. This is the case for pan-Africanists who fight for African unity, solidarity, and the total independence of the African continent.

Many of these pan-Africanists have already publicly expressed their admiration for President Ibrahim TRAORE’s firm commitment and have shown their willingness to support this noble struggle for the well-being of the Burkinabe people and all Africans. On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, yet another pan-African association was at the presidency of Faso to express their support to the head of state.

This association is the Pan-African Movement Africa and Diaspora, which, according to its leaders, aims to work for the economic, political, and social liberation of Africa. It also envisions fighting for the preservation of values that form the foundation of African societies, natural resources, and African cultural identities.

In Burkina Faso, this pan-African movement aims to provide support in raising awareness and educating against manipulation and misinformation, targeting women and children; to develop commercial relations with the Burkinabe people. This is without forgetting the priority area for Burkinabe authorities, which is security.

Since taking office, the President of Faso and his collaborators have been heavily invested in addressing the security crisis imposed by enemies. Any supportive action will be welcomed to restore peace and stability, the cornerstone of all development.
