Mali: Support for terrorism, Malian authorities warn African states allied with sponsors of terrorism
In its note of denunciation, condemnation, and announcement of firm decisions against the support of terrorism in Africa, particularly in the Sahel and specifically in the Republic of Mali, the transitional government warns African states complicit in this terrorist system.
For the Malian transition government, Ukraine’s involvement in terrorist acts against Malians is evident. Since the authorities have not denied the subversive statements of Ukrainian officials, which clearly reveal their country’s support for terrorism in northern Mali, particularly in the recent deadly attacks by allied terrorists.
As a result, Ukraine is now considered by Malians as a terrorist state that promotes and supports international terrorism, along with all its African and foreign allies. In the statement from the transitional government, it is mentioned that any support for Ukraine will be considered support for international terrorism.
As the saying goes, particularly relevant in international relations, “the friend of my enemy is my enemy”. The Malian government asserts that it has taken the necessary measures to prevent any destabilization of Mali, orchestrated from African states, particularly from Ukrainian embassies established in the sub-region, with terrorists disguised as diplomats.
It is inconceivable and incomprehensible to the national and continental opinion that in the 21st century, African brothers could turn against their own for the benefit of foreign powers. This is something that the Malian authorities and those of the AES will not accept, according to the statements of the dignified sons of the Sahel region.
