Mali/Diplomacy: For the Malian authorities, the time has come to remobilize the Malians

In response to the current demands related to national, regional, and international security and political developments, Malian authorities are taking proactive measures by placing significant emphasis on diplomacy. This department is expected to make every effort to position the country at a high level on the international stage.

To achieve this, the authorities in charge of the diplomatic department are re-engaging the actors involved in diplomatic missions for better alignment with the country’s new policies and expectations as defined by the highest authorities. Following the reorientation of the heads of diplomatic missions and consular posts of Mali, it is now the turn of the department’s personnel to benefit from a revitalization session.

Malian Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop recently held a meeting with all the workers in his department, according to official information. The agenda focused on the new vision of the country’s authorities, which now embodies the AES Confederation, as well as the increasing conspiracies and hostilities against Mali, manifested through media warfare and external support for terrorism.

This meeting served as a reminder from the diplomatic authorities to the staff of their responsibility and duty to the nation. The workers were urged to remain vigilant and to work diligently to meet the country’s challenges and expectations.

In response to this call, the staff committed to doubling their efforts in their various missions to defend Mali’s vital interests and those of its people, and to effectively achieve the objectives set by the transitional authorities.
