Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim Traoré’s strong words for Burkina Faso youth

The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, presided over the ceremony launching the commemorative activities for International Youth Day this Friday. This year’s event was themed “Integration, Security, Peace, and Development: The Role of African Youth”. The gathering brought together young people from Burkina Faso’s 13 regions and all 54 countries of the African continent.

During the event, the Head of State shared his vision for Africa’s future with an assembly of young leaders and activists. He emphasized the importance of youth engagement in the current struggles to achieve true and lasting independence for African nations.

President Traoré urged the youth to become aware of the critical challenges facing the continent and to take an active role in building a united and prosperous Africa.
