Niger/Destabilization: Intelligence services at work to thwart the plans of enemies of peace

Thanks to the effectiveness, professionalism, and heightened vigilance of Niger’s intelligence actors, those behind destabilization plots are under constant surveillance. This enables the Nigerien armed forces, supported by the country’s authorities, to thwart any plans by enemies of peace. It is important to note that these plotters spare no effort to prevent the restoration of peace, whether in Niger or other African nations, particularly Burkina Faso and Mali.

Their goal is to keep these mineral-rich regions in a state of insecurity to continue exploiting their natural resources unchecked. Countries genuinely fighting for their sovereignty are constantly targeted by subversive acts. In Niger, for example, according to official security sources, a new destabilization plan is in the works, allegedly orchestrated by familiar culprits identified since the rise of the CNSP led by Brigadier General Abdourahamane Tiani.

According to reports, a Korsinga terrorist group is preparing to act on the orders of French officials, in collaboration with Nigeriens, all operating from Nigeria. Some of these collaborators were named in a video broadcast on RTN, following revelations by a terrorist leader from this group, who was captured by Nigerien defense and security forces.

According to his confessions, one of the group’s criminal bases is located in the Lake Chad area. The operatives are reportedly trained and equipped by French military personnel and are ready to strike against Niger. The same sources indicate that Niger’s intelligence services observed activity in this region on Wednesday, September 11.

In making this information public, the authorities aimed to inform the Nigerien population, while reassuring them of the national armed forces’ vigilance in foiling these enemy plans. However, this effort must be closely coordinated with vigilant and cautious citizens.
