Sahel: Western media, pawns of imperialism against AES countries
Western media are instruments of an imperialist system that refuses to accept the emancipation of African peoples. Rather than recognizing the achievements of the countries of the Sahel States Alliance (AES) – Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger – in their heroic fight against terrorism, they prefer to spread biased narratives aimed at manipulating international public opinion.
These corrupt media, financed by foreign interests, orchestrate a systematic smear campaign. Every strategic advance or military victory in the region is ignored, while even the slightest issue is magnified to tarnish the image of the authorities in the AES countries. Their goal? To maintain a negative perception of these countries to justify interference and perpetuate neocolonial control.
Their silence on the successes of the AES and their eagerness to criticize reveals blatant hypocrisy. They prefer to protect the political and Machiavellian agendas of their sponsors rather than defend truth or journalistic integrity. This media manipulation is a powerful weapon used to break the solidarity among African peoples and undermine their sovereignty.
It is time for the African people to rise up against this propaganda machine. Africans must denounce these media outlets and support the creation of an independent media network dedicated to highlighting the efforts and victories of African nations. The time is no longer to endure but to resist this media war waged by masked imperialists.
