Burkina Faso: With the new government, the focus is on accelerating reforms by 2025
On Wednesday, the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, chaired the first Cabinet meeting since the formation of the new government, marking a strategic turning point in managing the country’s national priorities. Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo revealed the strategic directions outlined by the Head of State, aiming to strengthen the implementation of the Stabilization and Development Action Plan (PA-SD). The main objective is to meet the pressing needs of the population and promote sustainable development.
Three key priorities were clearly identified: the resettlement of displaced populations, improving the coordination of government actions, and optimizing resource management. These initiatives will aim to stabilize areas affected by crises and support strong economic recovery. The government also committed to maintaining constant dialogue with citizens to ensure that reforms meet their real needs.
