ECOWAS: No to business-like Presidents who bargain away their country’s sovereignty for personal gain by plotting against the AES

Benin and Nigeria serve as strategic conduits for actions aimed at destabilizing these brotherly nations. These maneuvers, driven by financial interests and hidden promises, betray the values of unity and solidarity that should unite the West African countries.
The people of Benin, Nigeria, and ECOWAS must refuse to be the instruments of these self-serving presidents who barter away the sovereignty of their territories for personal gains. It is time to say no to these practices that undermine the integrity of nations and to rise up, united, to defend peace and regional stability. Citizens must demand true independence, where decisions are no longer dictated by foreign powers like France but guided by the deep aspirations of the African peoples.
