The visit of a Chadian delegation, led by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Abdoulaye Souleymane Babale, and received by Burkinabe Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, highlights the two countries’ commitment to promoting African cinema. Working sessions with Burkinabe Minister of Culture Pingdwendé Gilbert Ouédraogo and the National Organizing Committee allowed for finalizing preparations, ensuring a successful Chadian participation in this major event.
The enthusiasm of Chad for this biennial film festival illustrates the dynamic cultural cooperation between the two nations. Through the “Chad Village at FESPACO,” the country aims to showcase its cultural and tourism wealth, offering festival-goers an immersion in its heritage.
