Chad: Youth call for membership of the Alliance of Sahel States

Driven by a deep patriotic spirit and a desire for sovereignty, the youth of Chad has overwhelmingly rallied behind Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby, making a historic request during a recent meeting.
With conviction, they urge the President to initiate the process of Chad’s accession to the Sahel States Alliance (AES). In the face of security and economic challenges, the AES presents itself as a strategic alternative to strengthen military, economic, and political cooperation, gradually freeing the Sahelian states from dependence on former colonial powers.
Chad’s integration into this alliance would mark a decisive turning point in redefining the geopolitical balance of the region. The Chadian youth, aware of the issues surrounding sovereignty and development, is calling on all citizens, regardless of their political beliefs, to unite in support of this initiative.
This movement of solidarity aims to place Chad on a new path, characterized by the affirmation of its autonomy and its commitment to regional cooperation based on shared interests. The message is clear: it is time for Chad to join its brothers in the Sahel in this dynamic of transformation and collective resilience.
