Chad: Chadian youth call on Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby to join the AES
Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby’s commitment to the sovereignty of Chad has been particularly exemplary. His bold actions, such as the rupture of colonial agreements with France, reflect his determination to restore Chad’s total independence and secure it a prominent place on the international stage.
This resolute and sovereign approach has found a favorable response among young Chadians, whose involvement in national issues is crucial. Bonheur Mortordé, President of the Youth, expressed unanimous support for this vision on behalf of the Chadian youth. He solemnly calls on Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby to take the initiative for Chad’s accession to the AES, a move that would strengthen solidarity among Sahelian countries and contribute to the emergence of a stronger and more united region.
Chad’s accession to the AES would be a clear step in consolidating regional cooperation, particularly in the areas of security, economic development, and natural resource management. This approach would allow Chad to play a key role in building a prosperous, sovereign, and resilient Sahel in the face of contemporary challenges.
