Under the leadership of President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, Togo has taken a significant step in promoting the rights of people with disabilities. Convinced that development must be inclusive, the Head of State has initiated several reforms and concrete actions aimed at ensuring better access to education, employment, and healthcare for these citizens.

Among the key initiatives, the Social and Professional Integration Support Project for People with Disabilities stands out for its impact. This program has already trained 450 beneficiaries in various trades, offering them prospects for financial independence.

In the same vein, the government has undertaken actions to improve accessibility by building 20 ramps in the Maritime region, facilitating the mobility and social inclusion of people with disabilities.

Thanks to this proactive policy, Togo is laying the foundations for a more equitable society. Under the guidance of H.E. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, the government intends to intensify these efforts in 2025, consolidating the progress made and strengthening the support for people with disabilities.

President Faure Gnassingbé’s commitment reflects a clear vision: to make Togo a country where everyone, regardless of their background, finds their place and contributes fully to national development. A more accessible Togo, a more united society.
