Françafrique: EU support for France against Africans would be a bad choice

0

In light of the proven involvement of the European Union (EU) in France’s sordid maneuvers against Africans who are committed to sovereignty, condemnations are multiplying. For some opinions, the EU is making a huge mistake by supporting France in its actions against Africans fighting to save their countries and Africa in general from external domination.

Indeed, it has been revealed that this European organization has become an essential ally of France in its policy of repression against Africans who openly express their dissatisfaction with French policy in Africa, particularly in French-speaking countries, former French colonies that remain under the yoke of French neocolonialism. This information comes from a very recent statement from sources close to the institution.

Whether by coercion, manipulation, or freely, high-ranking officials within the EU have embraced France’s idea of intimidating, threatening, or sanctioning Pan-Africanists who advocate for the sovereignty and full freedom of African states through a complete and straightforward break from unnecessary and toxic ties. This stance taken by EU figures is strongly criticized by both aware Europeans and informed Africans.

According to analyses, this position of the European Union, which seeks to prioritize France’s interests, would pose an obstacle to strengthening its relations with African countries, particularly those that are committed to the path of emancipation, sovereignty, and true independence. Unless these relationships hold no significance for the EU, in which case, it would be making a serious mistake.
