Burkina Faso: After the Presidency of Faso, Mahamadou SANA’s Ministry of Security advocates fiscal exemplarity

After the office of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, it is now the Ministry of Security, led by Mahamadou SANA, that is setting an example in fiscal matters. On Tuesday, the ministry officially launched the 2025 edition of the Fiscal Exemplarity Day. On this occasion, the minister himself paid his taxes, followed by his Chief of Staff, Wendinmanegdé Emmanuel ZONGO, and the Secretary-General, Commander Ahmed OUEDRAOGO.
This symbolic gesture demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to promoting a culture of transparency and fiscal citizenship. In his speech, Minister Mahamadou SANA reminded everyone that paying taxes is a civic duty that strengthens solidarity and contributes to the country’s development. He emphasized that every individual who fulfills their tax obligations is participating in the creation of a more prosperous society.
Before concluding, the Minister of Security encouraged all the ministry’s staff to follow this example. He stressed the importance of regularly paying taxes to ensure development based on the country’s resources and the responsible management of public finances.
