On Thursday, March 13, President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, reiterated his determination to make Burkina Faso the graveyard of terrorism. This came during his meeting in Ouagadougou with the widows and orphans of soldiers who gave their lives to keep the land of upright men standing.

After paying tribute to the fighters who fell on the battlefield, President Ibrahim TRAORE wanted to reassure his fellow citizens of the relentless continuation of the fight against criminals, declaring that “Burkina Faso will be the graveyard of terrorism.” This is a promise from the head of state, and he intends to keep it by intensifying efforts to make the war being waged by the brave soldiers on the front more intense and effective.

The head of state has decided to remain consistent in acquiring war materials and recruiting more soldiers to strengthen the operational capabilities of the national armed forces. In addition to these measures, the President of Faso does not take lightly the resources that can further galvanize and motivate the troops engaged at the front against criminals and their masterminds.

Improving the living conditions of soldiers through various support measures, providing adequate care for war-wounded soldiers, and giving special attention to widows and orphans are ways of acknowledging the ultimate sacrifice of Burkinabe     citizens in the fight, as well as keeping the morale of the fighters steady.
