At the head of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré has implemented a series of ambitious reforms and projects aimed at strengthening the economy, agriculture, industrialization, and national sovereignty. His leadership has been marked by bold decisions and concrete actions that are gradually transforming the country.

Economically, the GDP growth is notable, rising from 18.8 billion to 22.1 billion dollars, thanks to better management of national resources and a firm rejection of international loans. He has thus affirmed that Burkina Faso and Africa, in general, must free themselves from dependency on imperialist financial institutions. In the same vein, he paid off the local debt and introduced a salary reform by cutting ministers’ and parliamentarians’ salaries by 30% while increasing those of civil servants by 50%.

The agricultural and industrial sectors are also benefiting from a renewed boost, with the construction of the first tomato processing plants and a new textile unit dedicated to Burkinabe cotton. He also facilitated access to agricultural inputs, distributing hundreds of tractors, tillers, and pump engines to encourage the modernization of agriculture. These efforts contributed to a significant increase in agricultural production, particularly millet, rice, and tomatoes, ensuring greater food self-sufficiency.

In terms of national sovereignty, President Ibrahim Traoré has taken bold actions. He banned the export of raw gold to Europe, encouraged its local refining, and inaugurated a state-of-the-art gold mine. He also expelled French military forces from Burkina Faso, ending French military operations on Burkinabe soil, while strengthening the national army’s capabilities with the provision of cutting-edge military equipment. Additionally, he banned French media, asserting a desire for control over information and media sovereignty.

It is worth mentioning that, now, almost the entire Burkinabe territory is under the control of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP). This major achievement is the result of a rigorous military strategy and a clear political will under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré. In just a few months, operations to reclaim and secure the territory have succeeded in pushing back terrorist groups that had been active in several regions of the country.

Thanks to effective coordination between the armed forces and an enhanced intelligence service, Burkina Faso has been able to anticipate and neutralize numerous threats.

Today, Burkina Faso is entering a new security era, where the state fully reasserts control over its territory, providing its citizens with a safer and more stable living environment. The terrorist threat, though still present, is contained and in significant retreat, thus proving the effectiveness of the strategic decisions made by Captain Ibrahim Traoré and the unwavering commitment of the Burkinabe defense and security forces.

Finally, infrastructure development is at the heart of the government’s priorities. Burkina Faso has launched a large-scale road modernization program, with the widening and resurfacing of several key routes. The goal is to facilitate trade exchanges and improve the living conditions of the population. Through these actions, Captain Ibrahim Traoré embodies a new vision of a more independent, more prosperous Burkina Faso, resolutely focused on the future.
