Burkina Faso / President Ibrahim Traoré is determined to fight against terrorism and for development

Burkina Faso has been facing a terrorist threat for several years. Over This situation resulted in the past seven years, more than 13,000 people have died as a result, and the lives of thousands more have been disrupted. In the face of this threat, President Ibrahim Traoré has embarked on a merciless struggle to reconquer the territory of Burkina Faso and protect his fellow citizens.

Since his rise to power, Captain Ibrahim Traoré has made the fight against terrorism one of his priorities. He has put in place strong measures to strengthen the country’s security and has launched several military operations to neutralise terrorist groups in several areas of Burkina Faso.

President Ibrahim Traoré’s efforts have borne fruit. Thanks to a well-thought-out offensive strategy, Burkina Faso’s defence and security forces and the Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP) have succeeded in recovering several areas that were under the control of terrorist groups.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré has also strengthened relations with neighbouring countries to ensure an effective regional fight against terrorism.

But the fight against terrorism is not the only field on which President Traoré has achieved great things.

 He is also working for the economic and social development of Burkina Faso. He has launched several projects to improve the country’s infrastructure, particularly in the areas of health, education, youth employment and endogenous development, such as the establishment of the Community Entrepreneurship Programme.

 He also encouraged investment to stimulate the economy and create jobs for the people of Burkina Faso.

President Traoré has also worked to promote Burkinabe culture. Despite the security issue, he has encouraged the holding of festivals and cultural events to showcase the country’s cultural wealth and promote tourism, such as the Ouagadougou Pan-African Film and Television Festival (FESPACO) and the Ouagadougou International Crafts Fair (SIAO).

 He has also encouraged the preservation of local languages and traditions to preserve Burkina Faso’s cultural identity.

President Ibrahim Traoré is a blessing for Burkina Faso. His fight against terrorism has enabled part of Burkina Faso’s territory to be reclaimed and the country’s citizens to be protected.

He has also worked for the country’s economic and social development, and for the promotion of Burkina Faso’s culture. His vision for Burkina Faso is an ambitious one, and he continues to work to make his country a better place for all Burkinabè.
