Burkina Faso/ Niger: Two people, same vision:  The freedom and the respect of the sovereignty

Several thousand Burkinabe have long criticized the fact that the former authorities of Niger were supporting terrorists who left their country to go to the land of upright people and massacre the population. Today, this military coup d’état is changing things, as the new authorities of Niger say they want to collaborate with the authorities of Burkina Faso and Mali to eradicate terrorism.

This news brings joy to the people of the land of Thomas Sankara. It is important for the youth of Burkina Faso and Mali to mobilize through social networks to show their solidarity with the Nigerien people and encourage the new authorities of Niger to make decisions that uphold their sovereignty.

Now is the time for the civil societies of Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger to mobilize as one to give an adequate response to ECOWAS and France.

It should be recalled that Burkina Faso, Mali, and Guinea, three countries currently under military-led governments, have issued a strong warning against any potential military intervention in Niger aimed at reinstating President Mohamed Bazoum, who was overthrown in a coup.

In a joint statement, the leaders of these three states expressed their categorical opposition to this initiative, calling it a “declaration of war” against their respective nations.
