Burkina Faso / Dangerous manipulation by Burkina Faso’s enemies: Remain vigilant

In the turmoil of the fight against terrorism and the constant threat to Burkina Faso’s security, it has become imperative for every citizen to remain vigilant against those who seek to sow confusion and destabilise the beloved country of men of integrity. The enemies of Burkina Faso continue to play a dangerous game, sometimes supporting President Ibrahim Traoré, sometimes claiming to be persecuted. We must recognise these manoeuvres for what they are: an insidious attempt at dangerous manipulation.

In times of war, it is undeniable that the enemy deploys various tactics to sow discord among citizens. However, the security and stability of our nation remain the primary concern of those who cherish it. Unfortunately, when all attempts to achieve their objectives have failed, some individuals have chosen to resort to manipulation as a desperate strategy.

It is crucial to note that a person who, under a false profile calling himself 24 August, claimed that the Managing Director of SONABHY was involved in a plot and ready to act in July, and who now claims that he is one of the people that President Ibrahim Traoré wants to arrest, is acting in a calculated way to create a diversion. The aim of this manoeuvre is to make it impossible to arrest the real plotters. This person even goes so far as to add the names of other officers in order to make them feel in danger, so as to involve them more easily in their diabolical plan.

The tactic of this dangerous manipulation is devious and perfidious. It is designed to sow mistrust among the population and to discredit the transitional government’s security efforts. The consequences of this manipulation could be disastrous, as it could compromise the fight against internal and external threats to Burkina Faso.

It is our duty as responsible citizens to denounce these attempts at manipulation and to remain united as a nation. And to be discerning and not fall into the trap set by those who seek to destabilise an entire country for their own selfish interests. The unity and determination of all are the best assets for facing up to the challenges that lie ahead.

It is imperative that the people of Burkina Faso remain vigilant against the enemies of the nation who are trying to manipulate the situation to their advantage. The country’s security and stability depend on our ability to thwart these devious manoeuvres and to remain united in the fight for a peaceful and prosperous Burkina Faso.
