Burkina Faso standing: The people alongside President Ibrahim Traoré against destabilization plots

On the night of Tuesday, September 26, 2023, an impressive human tide gathered at the United Nations roundabout in the Burkinabe capital to express its unwavering support for President Ibrahim Traoré and his government.This demonstration of solidarity comes as the threat of plots to destabilize the power of Captain Ibrahim Traoré and, by extension, the stability of Burkina Faso, orchestrated by local hacks in the pay of foreign imperialists, persists.

The demonstrators, from all over the capital, converged on the roundabout, using different means of transport such as cars, motorcycles, bicycles, tricycles, and even on foot. Their objective was clear: to stand united against any attempt to disrupt the current transition.

One protester said, «We are here at the call of the Nation. We do not accept that Burkinabe are compromising the transition while it fights insecurity.» This statement underlines the crucial importance of preserving stability and national unity in a context where security remains a major concern.

In the face of persistent threats of destabilization and orchestrated plots against Burkina Faso, the people are clearly demonstrating their unwavering commitment to President Ibrahim Traoré and his government.
