Burkina Faso/Anti-terrorism fight: Air military equipment, that’s what the Burkinabe fighters have needed all along

Air military equipment such as fighter jets and military drones were what the Burkinabe army needed to put an end to terrorism. Since the acquisition of this logistical support by Ibrahim Traoré’s transition government, satisfactory results on the ground have been multiplying.

Aerial operations are of great importance and significant assistance in the fight against terrorism. Terrorists are now successfully tracked thanks to this logistical support, and fighters no longer fall into the traps set by criminals, marking a turnaround in trends for several months now.

Did the former partners in the fight not possess this Air military equipment? If not, what were they boasting about, and in what way were they indispensable in this fight? And if yes, what exactly did it serve for? Was this material merely there to adorn their bases? Why weren’t they used as they are now?

These are legitimate questions that the Burkinabe people ask themselves. This leads to the belief that the will to end terrorism was not present. On the contrary, it was nurtured to expand, as it greatly benefited hypocritical and imperialist partners. If Ibrahim Traoré’s transition had been in place earlier, terrorism would be a thing of the past in Burkina Faso.

As proof, terrorists have stepped back in less than a year of genuine combat, thanks to essential war logistics. Just like yesterday, on Monday, November 20, dozens of terrorists were once again massacred in aerial operations in Kongloré, in the Central-East of the country. This transition is a real solution against terrorism and imperialism in the land of the upright people.
