CAN 2024: Cameroon take on Equatorial Guinea in a friendly

As part of the preparations for the upcoming CAN (African Cup of Nations), Cameroon will face Equatorial Guinea in January next year.

The information has not yet been officially announced by the Cameroonian Football Federation. However, reliable sources have informed our editorial team that the Indomitable Lions will play a friendly match on January 8, 2024, against the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea.

This will be the last test match before the start of the competition scheduled for January 13th. Cameroon is placed in Group C alongside Senegal, Gambia, and Guinea. The Lions will step into the arena on January 15th at 6 p.m. against Guinea’s Nsili National team.

Equatorial Guinea, on the other hand, is placed in Group A with the host country Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and Guinea-Bissau. The first match for Nzalang Nacional is scheduled for January 14th against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
