Togo: The renovation of the CHR of Sokodé, concretizes the will of President Faure Gnassingbé

The renovation of the Regional Hospital Center of Sokodé, is the realization of the will of President Faure Gnassingbé to offer the populations of said locality, a modern health framework.

Several health facilities are being renovated in all regions of Togo. These initiatives are part of the Togolese authorities’ policy on social security and reflect the vision of Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé, for universal access to quality health care.

The latest initiative is the renovation and equipment of medical resuscitation, at the Regional Hospital Center of Sokodé, in the Central Region, for a total cost of nearly 34 million FCFA.

The service now revamped, is composed of a room of capacity of 5 beds of resuscitation. Each bed has a medicine cabinet for each patient and a monitor, 5 cabinets and 5 wall monitors.

A small room separated from the large room by two large windows to shelter the nurse will be used to monitor patients in intensive care. Concerning the equipment, there was the purchase of an oxygen extractor and 2 oxyconcentrators for people suffering from respiratory failure. In addition, 7 multi-parametric monitoring monitors and a respirator.
