League1: MARSEILLE-LYON (3-0)

Four days after showing some good things in Lens despite the defeat (3-2), OL fell back into their faults on Wednesday evening, in a late match in Marseille (3-0).

With still seven points on the clock, Lyon’s red-headed team, which has one of the worst records in L1 history, must more than ever sound the alarm to avoid relegation next May.

As since August, the matches are one after the other and the results are similar for OL. Despite the encouraging performance of Pierre Sage’s men last Saturday in Lens (loss 3-2), the Gones fell back into their faults Wednesday evening on the occasion of the game late in Marseille (3-0).

Drowned midfielder, fuzzy and feverish forwards, failing leaders: «OL presented the face of a sick team with no solutions. The defeat is completely logical and the score could have been higher, conceded the OL coach to the microphone of Prime Video after the match. We have a lot to work on».
