Burkina Faso : Increasing burkinabe military capabilities with new acquisitions and commitment to peace

Recently, the operational capabilities of the burkinabe army have been strengthened in line with the commitment of the Transitional President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to reclaim national territory.

On January 12, new military equipment was presented and handed over to the Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly, under the directive of the supreme commander of the armed forces, who instructed him to use them judiciously in operations against armed terrorist groups.

These recent acquisitions reflect Captain TraorĂ©’s determination to fully engage in the fight, thus meeting the impatient expectations of the population for the return of peace. The Minister of Defense has been explicitly tasked with using these equipment effectively in operations against armed terrorist groups by the supreme commander of the armed forces.

It is evident that the goal is war, with the conviction that any enemy will be annihilated in the context of legitimate defense. The ultimate aim of this confrontation is liberating victory, paving the way for development for the people. The new acquisitions strengthen the operational capabilities of the army, which, through its successes, contributes to eradicating terrorist groups and reassuring the population.

The synergy between the army and the nation reaches its peak during this delicate period, with the belief that the war is about to end. Repeated victories involving air assets, ground troops, and a population regaining confidence reinforce this belief.

State-of-the-art weapons have been received, with the prospect of obtaining more, fueling the determination to put an end to these criminals without ideals.

Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly assured that the equipment would be used judiciously, acknowledging that it is a contribution from the collective efforts of the Burkinabé people.

This acquisition, likely not the last, should mobilize the entire society around the essential goal of securing the territory and liberating burkinabe. This requires the discipline that characterizes military strength but must also guide all actors, whether engaged in politics, unions, or the economy. The construction of a peaceful Burkina is conceivable and accelerated if the discourse is unified and moderate.
