Burkina Faso/Terrorism : Destabilization plans supported by terrorists

The plotters against the regime of Ibrahim Traoré, whether Burkinabe or not, relentlessly rely on the perpetrators of violent and criminal acts to achieve their goal. Their aim is to weaken the Burkinabe army, sow chaos within the population to deliver a fatal blow to the transitional government.

You can understand why these plotters persist in their attempts despite the significant losses inflicted on them by the fighting forces. They are continuously encouraged and emboldened by destabilizers both internal and external to Burkina Faso. The observation is that these two types of terrorists, those within and those in the bush, collaborate and constantly relay each other.

They are always helping and taking turns in their various actions to undermine the stability of the country and the security of the state. After the plotters failed yet again in their destabilization plan, it was the bush terrorists who took over by attempting to attack Silmangué, a locality located in Namentenga, in the Central-North region of Burkina Faso.

They were in large numbers according to security reports but saw their plan foiled thanks to the professionalism and vigilance of the brave and honorable Burkinabe soldiers. They were bombed on Tuesday, January 16, along with their equipment, by Burkinabe army drones. The fleeing individuals were also exterminated in the early morning of Wednesday, January 17, by a special forces commando.

If there are traitors and dissenters within the civilian population and the Burkinabe army, there are also worthy sons and daughters, men and women of integrity, patriots, conscious and loyal, who will continue to fight for the transition and for an end to insecurity in the country.
