Burkina Faso : Nothing but fake news in this Human Rights Watch report, life has actually resumed in the liberated villages

Human Rights Watch accuses the Burkinabé government of killing civilians in army drone strikes last August. The organization claims to have based its investigation on the analysis of satellite images and videos.

The question that arises is: where were these satellites when jihadists came in large numbers on motorcycles or in pickups, spreading fear and devastation among the Burkinabé population? Did they not see them to alert the Burkinabé government?

Are the videos and images official ? Why does only the NGO have this information when the reality in the country is different? Drone strikes are only carried out on terrorist bases. Moreover, the information relayed by the national television is about operations to reconquer the territory.

Are the Burkinabé civilians the ones on motorcycles and in pickups filled with ammunition and weapons speeding towards villages to kill the populations ? These organizations and media at the service of foreign powers want to overthrow the government of Captain Ibrahim Traoré through disinformation campaigns at all costs. Unfortunately, these old strategies and maneuvers no longer work.

This Human Rights Watch report is nothing but false information. Contrary to what this organization claims, life has resumed in villages previously occupied by terrorists thanks to these army strikes and assaults launched by fighting forces, driving out these criminals. Life has never been better on the land of the upright men in just one year of Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s rule.
