Burkina Faso: The population expresses its support for Captain Ibrahim Traoré

The Burkinabe population came out massively yesterday, Monday, November 28 to demonstrate their support for the President of the Transition, in reaction to rumors of destabilization of power circulating on social networks.Thousands of Burkinabè demonstrated their support for President Ibrahim Traoré on Monday (November 28th) at the place of the nation of Ouagadougou.

These patriots, recognizing the commitments and strong actions undertaken by Captain Ibrahim Traoré to eradicate terrorist violence from Burkina, demonstrated for his stay in power. “We went out, because we saw on the web that there would be a coup d’état being prepared against our President. We go out to secure Captain Ibrahim Traoré. When the president’s life is threatened, we will go out,” one protester said.

This patriot rebels against the manipulation of the population via social networks, “the enemy uses social networks to manipulate people,” she adds.

“There is no question of anyone wanting to take power by force. There is no need to disturb the country. Our fight is to liberate our country,” added Boly Moumini, protester and secretary of the Pan-African Leaders’ Collectives.

The opinion leaders welcome this prompt reaction of the population who believe that the actions of the President for the reorganization within the army deserve the support and support of all.
