Africa: President Félix Tshisekedi unveils his priorities for a prosperous and secure DRC

President Félix Tshisekedi recently personally met with his compatriots residing in France, where he took the time to detail the six priority areas of his governance for the next five years.

These carefully crafted axes aim to address the crucial challenges facing the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Job creation, at the top of these priorities, is a major issue in a country where unemployment and underemployment affect a significant portion of the population.

Security also remains a key concern, especially in the eastern regions where armed conflicts persist. President Tshisekedi intends to strengthen efforts to ensure the security of citizens and stabilize these troubled areas.

In parallel, improving purchasing power is a crucial priority for the government, aiming to guarantee a decent standard of living for all Congolese. Economic diversification is also being considered as a means to reduce excessive dependence on traditional sectors and encourage the development of new industries.

Access to basic services, such as education and healthcare, is another central pillar of governmental action. The President emphasizes the importance of providing quality services to all citizens, regardless of their place of residence.

In the face of insecurity in the eastern part of the country, the Head of State has issued a passionate call for national unity. « It is important that we remain united, and I invite you to denounce compatriots who play into the hands of the enemy », recommended President Félix Tshisekedi, highlighting the importance of solidarity and cooperation in the fight against forces hostile to the peace and stability of the country.
