AES: An economic conference to transform the future of the Sahel
From Tuesday, January 14 to Friday, January 17, Mali will host a major economic conference organized by the Confederation of Sahel States. This strategic event will bring together leaders and experts from the member countries to lay the foundations for an ambitious and sustainable economic transformation in the region.
Initiated by the Malian Ministry of Economy and Finance, this meeting aims to serve as a platform for reflection and action. It will provide an opportunity to explore practical solutions to economic challenges while strengthening cooperation between the member countries of the Sahel States Alliance (AES).
One of the central points of discussion will be the creation of a regional investment bank, a visionary project designed to catalyze development. This financial institution will fund key projects such as infrastructure, energy, and agriculture, while providing credit opportunities to local entrepreneurs.
By promoting economic integration and strengthening trade exchanges, this bank could become the engine of inclusive development, rooted in the realities of the Sahel. Beyond this ambitious project, the conference will address key topics such as economic sovereignty, sustainable management of natural resources, and improving the living conditions of populations.
This conference represents much more than just an economic meeting. It embodies a shared will among the AES countries to unite in building a prosperous, autonomous, and resilient future. By focusing on cooperation and innovation, these states are demonstrating their commitment to addressing current challenges while offering their populations a vision of hope and sustainable progress.
