AES/Heads of State Summit: The welcome of the President of Faso, an expression of Well-Established trust
The President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, like his counterparts in the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), has earned the trust not only of his compatriots but also of the entire Sahelian and African populace. This trust is manifested in the support and admiration he receives across Africa.
Through bold decisions and concrete, commendable actions, he has demonstrated to all of Africa that his priority as the leader of Burkina Faso is the well-being of his people and the freedom of his country, the Sahel region, and the African continent from French and allied domination. This explains the warm and grand reception he received from the Nigeriens upon his arrival on Friday, July 5th.
As a reminder, he is in Niamey for the first summit of the Heads of State of the Sahel Alliance, the joint organization of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, established on September 16, 2023, to better address security challenges in the Sahel region and work together for its socio-economic development and the integration of its peoples.
The first summit of the high leaders of this organization is taking place after several works by experts and governments working to realize the common vision of the three Heads of State, making the AES operational for the benefit of their peoples. It is clear that these military leaders and statesmen have decided to serve only their peoples and nations.
Their actions already sufficiently demonstrate this, which explains the respect and love their peoples show them. These revolutionary leaders of the Sahel are examples for Africans to follow today, to offer the continent and its peoples the sovereignty and development they so greatly aspire to.
