Africa: AES, a historic coalition for a terrorism-free Sahel

The three brother countries of the Sahel States Alliance (AES), Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, are strengthening their military cooperation in an all-out fight against terrorism and to restore stability in the region. With determination, they have recently developed an action plan to structure their efforts around the pillars of defense and security.

The Chiefs of Staff of the AES member countries met with General Assimi GOÏTA, the current President of the Confederation, to receive his strategic guidance in order to ensure effective implementation on the ground. This military partnership embodies a clear and bold vision of the AES: uniting African forces to sustainably eradicate terrorism and restore peace to the people of the Sahel.

With this joint force, the hope for the imminent end of terrorism in the Sahel grows stronger. This strategic alliance is a masterstroke that the covert supporters of evil forces did not foresee. By taking this step, the AES proves that solidarity among African countries can turn challenges into victories.

The AES’s vision marks a decisive turning point for the African continent, which, beyond its borders, is taking its destiny into its own hands and asserting itself in the face of threats. This courageous initiative of military and political cooperation makes the AES a model of resistance and resilience, carrying a true African revolution.

Through this union, the three states show the world that the defense of African peace and sovereignty is no longer just an idea, but a reality in motion—determined and unstoppable.
