Africa: Vladimir Putin captivated by the authenticity of Ibrahim Traoré
At the Russia-Africa Summit, Captain Ibrahim Traoré raised pressing and delicate questions regarding Africa’s future and its position on the international stage. The President of Faso, with authenticity, questioned the apparent incongruity between Africa’s abundant natural resources and the pervasive poverty on the continent. This authenticity captivated President Putin from Russia.
In front of President Putin and several African heads of state, The President of the Burkinabe revolution, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, expressed his frustration with the situation where African leaders are compelled to travel the world to beg on the international stage despite the abundance of resources on their native soil.
According to him, this contradiction demands new relationships and a better future for the African people.
Captain Ibrahim Traoré did not hesitate to vehemently criticize neocolonialism and imperialism, which he views as obstacles to Africa’s prosperity.
He specifically accused some ECOWAS Presidents of not contributing anything to their people while behaving as puppets of imperialist powers.
Furthermore, he praised the determination of the Burkinabe people in their fight against terrorism and their willingness to take control of their destiny.
He referred to the situation in Burkina Faso, where citizens are, in his view, forced to take up arms to combat terrorism.
Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the charismatic President of Faso criticized the fact that Westerners and some ECOWAS Presidents label Burkinabe volunteers as militias, while in other countries, when citizens want to defend their country, they are called patriots.
