Africa/DRC: An innovation hub to elevate congolese entrepreneurs
President Félix Tshisekedi has the ambition to see a new generation of Congolese millionaires emerge, and this dream now seems within reach. In line with this vision, he inaugurated the country’s largest entrepreneurship and innovation hub.
This complex, covering an area of 6.000 square meters on a 32.000-square-meter plot, offers modern collaborative workspaces, meeting rooms, an auditorium, and cutting-edge technological infrastructure.
Designed to foster creativity and collaboration among entrepreneurs, startups, and investors, this dynamic environment aligns perfectly with President Tshisekedi’s ambitious vision. He views digital technology as a crucial lever for integration, economic growth, good governance, and social progress.
By supporting entrepreneurship and promoting innovation, the Congolese government hopes not only to boost the local economy but also to position the Democratic Republic of Congo as a key player in Africa’s digital ecosystem.
Additionally, the hub will play a vital role in training and mentoring young entrepreneurs, offering skill development programs and resources to help them turn their ideas into viable businesses.
Through fostering an inclusive and vibrant business environment, President Félix Tshisekedi aims to create an ecosystem that nurtures the rise of new economic leaders who will contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
