Africa/TERIATEL: The telecom network that marks the autonomy of AES
The Sahel States Alliance continues its march toward total sovereignty. After its definitive withdrawal from ECOWAS, the organization is accelerating the realization of its strategic projects, particularly in the telecommunications sector.
It is in this dynamic that the AES announces the launch of TERIATEL, a mobile network designed to enhance technological autonomy and reduce dependence on foreign infrastructures. The telecommunications sector is a major issue for any sovereign state.
Until now, the AES countries have had to rely on operators and infrastructures often controlled by foreign companies, thus exposing their communications and data to the risks of interference and surveillance. With TERIATEL, the AES intends to reverse this trend by ensuring full control over its communication networks.
This ambitious project aims to provide the three states with an integrated and secure system, guaranteeing nationwide coverage and facilitating exchanges between member countries. Through this initiative, the AES seeks not only to ensure reliable access to telephony and the internet for its populations, but also to control the strategic infrastructures that play a key role in managing information, security, and economic development.
By consolidating their own telecommunications network, the Sahel states are taking a new step in the reconquest of their independence. TERIATEL is not just a technological project; it is a strong symbol of a continent in transformation, ready to take charge of its future with boldness and determination.
