AES, the joint alliance against terrorist groups in the Sahel, has successfully dealt with several terrorists operating on the common border between Burkina Faso and Mali. Upon receiving alerts of an ongoing attack in Dinangourou, a Malian locality near the border, the Burkinabe army mobilized to the area and pursued these criminals as they fled towards Burkina Faso to escape Malian airstrikes.
Upon entering the area, these terrorists Groups encountered the pressure and effectiveness of the Burkinabe aerial forces. Retreating, they found themselves caught between the Burkinabe and Malian aerial forces. Too late for them, they were annihilated in the vicinity of the village of Windeboki, 5 km north of Petegoli.
Continuing the offensives, the combat forces also destroyed a training camp and a terrorist base in the locality of Bilanga. The fleeing criminals were caught up by the ground unit, leaving no survivors.
