Burkina Faso/Anti-Terrorism Fight: Recalcitrants massacred by burkinabe fighters

In Burkina Faso on Monday, May 6th was another dark day for the armed terrorist groups who persist in causing harm to Burkinabe citizens. These recalcitrants, who came in large numbers to sow trouble, were quickly apprehended and successfully dealt with by the brave and valiant soldiers of Burkina Faso.

According to information from security sources made public by AIB, criminals on a mission to steal livestock in Barga, in the province of Yatenga, in the northern region of the country, were struck down by missiles from aerial fighters. Those who tried to escape by hiding among the stolen livestock later met their match, remaining in the sights of the aerial vectors.

In the evening of the same day, according to reports, other criminals who simultaneously attacked the villages of Dio in the Boucle du Mouhoun and Tapoa in the Eastern region were also dealt with according to their crimes. Although those in Dio managed to cause material damage by setting houses on fire, they did not survive to tell their tales.

At Tapoa barrage, fierce battles ensued between the combat forces and the assassins. But faced with the determination of the armed forces, the criminals fled towards Tounga, about ten kilometers north of Diapaga. Thinking they were safe in Tounga, they were surprised under a large tree by a missile and joined their accomplices in hell.

This demonstrates the dedication and professionalism shown by the combat forces. In this momentum of struggle, the Burkinabe people are reassured of achieving security objectives. The reconquest of the entirety of Burkinabe territory, the restoration of peace and stability, is the key to all development. Unity and solidarity among the sons and daughters of Burkina Faso are therefore necessary to boost the fight and accelerate the reconquest.
