Burkina Faso/Anti-terrorist war: New losses inflicted on attackers in the Eastern region

The Burkinabe army fiercely retaliated against a terrorist attack in the East of the country, as reported by the Burkina Information Agency (AIB) on Sunday, July 16th.

Helicopters pursued them and caught up with several groups of terrorists who had just committed barbaric acts in a village before pulverizing them with precision strikes.

A few days earlier, it was in the Northern region that the army «achieved a major success».

Following information provided by intelligence services, the fighters identified an old hamlet where terrorist leaders and their elements were planning to hold a meeting in order to attack a nearby village.

With skillful expertise, the air force repeatedly struck the house that sheltered them, thus eliminating these criminals.

In the Central-North region, the combat forces successfully supplied several at-risk localities with food.

The fight to regain full control of the national territory continues in several other regions.

The determination and bravery of the patriotic coalition, despite the difficulties of the terrain, give hope for a new day to the Burkinabe people, who continue to unwaveringly support President Traoré and his men.
