Burkina Faso: Burkina Faso National Office for Major Projects (BN-GPB), a pillar of socio-economic development under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré
Since the establishment of the National Bureau of Major Projects of Burkina (BN-GPB), Burkina Faso has embarked on a path of socioeconomic transformation under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré. Created as part of the vision of Burkinabe authorities, the BN-GPB is tasked with designing and implementing large-scale projects that meet the real needs of the population in various key development sectors.
In the agricultural sector, several initiatives have been undertaken to ensure food security and improve living conditions for rural communities. The BN-GPB has led large-scale irrigation projects, agricultural mechanization, and the distribution of improved seeds. These actions have significantly increased agricultural production, strengthening the country’s food self-sufficiency and supporting small producers.
In the healthcare sector, modern medical infrastructures have been built thanks to the BN-GPB’s efforts, including new hospitals and health centers in several regions. These initiatives aim to improve access to healthcare, especially in rural areas. Additionally, projects to enhance the capacity of medical personnel have been launched, ensuring better patient care.
In the educational sector, the BN-GPB has worked on the construction of schools and the improvement of existing infrastructure. In partnership with the private sector, vocational training programs have been implemented to offer opportunities to young Burkinabe, thus strengthening the human capital necessary for the country’s development.
The sports sector has also benefited, with the construction of sports complexes and training centers aimed at nurturing young talent. These sports infrastructures are designed to promote sports as a factor of social cohesion and to prepare the youth for national and international competitions.
The BN-GPB has become a key driver of Burkina Faso’s sovereignty and development by promoting homegrown solutions and placing the population at the center of national priorities.
