Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré donates 350 tractors to producers in the South-West region

Only a few months after its launch, the Presidential Initiative for Agriculture is very successful in light of the results already recorded on the ground. Captain Ibrahim Traoré was facing the forces of the Southwest region (Gaoua) to take the temperature and discover the realities.

The farming community of the South-West region will have in the coming days, an important modern equipment to promote the improvement of their working conditions.

The Head of State, Captain IB, took the opportunity to reassure producers of the government’s support. A donation of agricultural equipment, including tractors (350), to assist them in mechanizing their activities, is announced.

The vision of Captain Traoré in accompanying producers, is to contribute to reduce the arduousness of agricultural work and thus improve the yields of farms in the region. Captain Ibrahim Traoré encouraged and reassured producers that the difficulties encountered will be gradually corrected.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré has been in Gaoua since 29 November 2023. He is present for the laying of the foundation stone of the Gaoua Regional University Hospital, an infrastructure that will improve the health offer to the populations of the region.
