Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré leads major initiatives in the Hauts-Bassins Region

The Transition President, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, embarked on a busy program in the city of Sya on Monday, where he participated in several activities of national importance.

Leading these engagements, Captain Ibrahim Traoré presided over the opening ceremony of the 21st edition of the National Culture Week (SNC). This iconic event celebrates the richness and diversity of Burkina Faso’s cultural heritage.

Subsequently, the Head of State traveled to Bobo-Dioulasso to officially launch road construction and asphalting works in the city, as well as the rehabilitation and asphalting of National Road No. 08, Moami-Orodara-Koloko Border with Mali. These road infrastructure projects aim to improve connectivity and circulation in the region.

Furthermore, Captain Ibrahim Traoré laid the foundation stone for the Textile Industrial Complex of the Forces of Burkina Faso (TEXFORCES-BF). This initiative aims to strengthen the country’s textile sector and create employment opportunities for citizens.

Finally, the Head of State inaugurated an agro-food unit for the production of edible oil, thus contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and the promotion of food self-sufficiency in Burkina Faso.

These various interventions illustrate Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s and his government’s commitment to the economic, social, and cultural development of the country, especially in the Hauts-Bassins region.
