Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré strengthens agricultural resilience with more than 37 billion FCFA
The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, continues to strengthen the country’s agricultural resilience through the Agro-Pastoral and Fisheries Offensive. During the recent Council of Ministers meeting, the government approved strategic projects aimed at acquiring agricultural inputs and equipment, as well as developing irrigated perimeters and lowland areas. This investment of 37.2 billion CFA francs reflects the Head of State’s determination to accelerate food sovereignty through concrete actions tailored to the needs of the population.
These projects include the development of hydro-agricultural, pastoral, and aquaculture infrastructure, as well as the acquisition of agro-pastoral and livestock equipment. The goal is to increase productivity and provide farmers, herders, and fishermen with modern and effective means to improve their yields.
