Through an ambitious policy, the country has become a true construction site, with significant achievements in several strategic sectors. The latest Cabinet meeting is a concrete example of this, with the adoption of major infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity and boosting the national economy.

Indeed, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Connectivity has approved two major projects: the Sikasso-Korogho-Bobo-Dioulasso (SKBO) road and the rehabilitation of infrastructure supporting the economy. These initiatives include the construction and modernization of several major roads, including National Road No. 11 (Banfora-Sidéradougou-Ouo over 115 km and Ouo-Gaoua over 78 km), as well as key regional roads such as Boussé-Kordié and Garango-Tenkodogo. In addition, the construction of warehouses for the National Food Security Stock Management Company (SONAGESS) will strengthen the country’s logistical capabilities.

With these large-scale projects, Burkina Faso is taking a new step in its development, reflecting Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s determination to modernize the country and improve the living conditions of its people. The acceleration of these achievements demonstrates the government’s full commitment to making Burkina Faso a model of resilience and progress in West Africa.
